Lucky for us, Randy Olson, a doctoral candidate at Michigan State University, has planned the “perfect road trip.”

With the aid of a sophisticated algorithm, Olson’s road trip lets anyone, anywhere hit all the landmarks in each of the 48 continental states in the shortest possible route.

I wish I was able to have access to the map so that I can click on it to see things that are around the areas that I stop. I may want to stay a couple days in some cases. In others I may want to make sure to get to a particular location before I stop!!!
