What happens when your brakes fail at 120mph..

120 MPH Brake Failure at Brazilian Truck Racing Event. Brazilian Super Truck driver Diumar Bueno had the brakes on his Super Truck fail during a practice session at 120mph. ... When these truckscrash, it is usually spectacular, but they can damage the circuit and possibly compromise the safety of the spectator.

Insane Fighter pilot lands on Carrier in Dust Storm

10/17/2017

Still trying to figure out how the plane is flying with balls that heavy in the cockpit. Can't imagine trying to land on a aircraft carrier in general, but then having to do so with a dust storm making visibility next to zero. Amazing..

Delivery Mileage McLaren F1 For Sale – Just 239 Kilometres

10/16/2017

Picture
British second-hand supercar dealer Tom Hartley Junior has secured a once-in-a-lifetime McLaren F1 which joins its inventory this week! The dandelion yellow McLaren F1 is offered in timewarp condition, featuring most of the original packaging and with a scarcely believable 239 kilometres on the odometer!
The McLaren F1 is undoubtedly the most collectable of the modern hypercars. It held the production top speed record between 1998 and 2005 when it was beaten by the Koenigsegg CCR. Powered by a BMW V12 engine, it won Le Mans in unlikely circumstances and was acclaimed for its innovative design

This particular car appears to have been purchased new by a Japanese customer. Tom Hartley Junior claim that chassis number 060 is the lowest mileage F1 in existence. It has never been road registered, the protective packaging even remains in tact on the inside.
It’s not a car for those that want something to drive. Instead, it appears as close to a museum piece as it is possible to get. The original owner specced it with a dandelion yellow exterior together with grey and yellow accent interior.
The car comes with all of the original items received by the owner. It includes a leather-cased owners handbook, a Facom tool chest, a tool roll with original gold-plated titanium tools and a full luggage set still in factory protective wrapping. The owner has also parted with an ultra-rare commemorative TAG Heuer watch with the chassis number engraved on the face.
The F1 was originally ordered with special features such as an LM style spare exhaust, an additional GTR style steering wheel, passenger over-carpets and a windscreen strip. A custom finish for this car is the hand-painted signature of F1 designer Gordon Murray on the rear right-hand side of the body.
Any guesses as to what it will sell for once Tom Hartley Junior finds a buyer?

Cops in Dubai Are Getting Real, Very Dangerous Looking Hoverbikes

10/15/2017

Picture
Police in Dubai may soon have access to functional hoverbikes, according to AutoBlog, which reported the Dubai Police unveiled the new technology in conjunction with Russian company Hoversurf at the Gulf Information Technology Exposition last week. Per Autoblog, the Scorpion hoverbike is capable of flying approximately 16 feet (five meters) in the air, moving at a speed of 43 miles per hour (70 kilometers per hour) and carrying 660 pounds (300 kilograms) of gear. It’s thus capable of clearing traffic-packed roads, but one serious drawback is the unit’s limited, 25 minute charge capacity. The Scorpion’s rotor blades also look ready to chop through anything it might bump into, like humans, and sort of looks like it is as dangerous for the operator to fly as for anyone who might wander into its path.
The police force intends to use the hoverbikes as tools for officers to bypass traffic and other obstacles during emergencies, though the United Arab Emirates has a notoriously poor human rights record, so authorities there may put them to somewhat less agreeable purposes.
The US military, as well as various specialty shops and hobbyists, have had varying degrees of success working on their own hoverbikes. Most of them look alarmingly dangerous, but hey—as the saying goes, you can’t make a hoverbike without amputating a few limbs.
CNN reported that the hoverbikes were also announced alongside a new electric motorcycle concept by the Japanese company Mikasa, which was touted as having a 124 mph (200 km/h) top speed. According to ABC, Dubai authorities are also planning on rolling out small, driverless vehicles for surveillance in urban areas.

A man built himself a steampowered bicycle and its pure awesome.

10/13/2017

Picture
A British engineer has designed and built his own steam-powered bicycle that can travel at 20m ph.
62-year-old Geoff Hudspith, the man behind the machine, said: "When it's underway it's surprisingly well-balanced because the weight of the boiler is balanced by the weight of the water tank on the other side at the back."
The steam powers a double action single cylinder, this turns a flywheel, which powers a chain on the front wheel.
The bike has a range of around ten miles on one tank of water.
Geoff has turned down several offers to buy it, even for high sums of money.
"I even had a bloke in Denmark, some years ago now, who was so taken with it he wanted to swap a house for it," Hudspith recalls.
"And well, I just thought; 'Well, you know, is this bloke serious or what?' You know. I suppose I should have taken the house and just made another steam bike."

If You Run Over A Supercar In Front Of The Owner, You're Going To Get Hit

10/12/2017

A scumbag youth runs over a Lamborghini Aventador SV in San Francisco. What happens next will not shock you, and you probably won't even think he got enough of a beating...The first rule of car club is that you do not mess with anyone else’s car. The second rule of car club is that you do not mess with anyone else’s car. The third rule… you get the idea. One arrogant young scumbag in San Francisco has just found out the stupid way what happens when you commit the cardinal sin.
In the first of two videos on the same Insta post, we see a cocky little git run – actually run – up the bonnet and windscreen of a Lamborghini Aventador SV, over the roof and jump off the back. We honestly don’t know whether the lad has learning difficulties to be doing something so wrong, so disrespectful and so outrageous, but having run away and escaped the first time, in the second video (swip/click) he tries again.
He’s quickly grabbed by the car’s owner, flung to the ground with a hail of verbal abuse and, eventually, after being dragged up and back down again, lies still on the floor. We can’t tell whether he’s actually been knocked out – we don’t see a blow anywhere near hard enough for that, and it’s possible that the contemptuous idiot is pretending, to try to win the assembled crowd’s sympathy – and maybe sue for compensation down the line. We suspect this one isn’t over.
