 French professional skier Candide Thovex is back with yet another clip that showcases just how insanely talented he is. After recently seeing him haul ass down a mountain with no snow, Thovex proves once again that the perfect conditions aren’t exactly necessary. Here, Candide starts in what seems to be at least decent powder, but then ends up skiing through water and over-top grass and rocks, all while taking on incredible jumps and landing outrageous tricks. Resort and backcountry skiers are finding out the benefits of having two way radios with them when they ski. Alpine ski tourers are using them to tell other skiers of avalanche hazards above them or to warn other skiers of obstacles in the snow on the route ahead. Resort skiers are using them to contact family members on the hill to let them know when to rendezvous for lunch or where to meet at the end of the day.
